Methods

We have assembled a number of optimised methods that we use in our projects that may be of interest to the community. These include optimised RNA and DNA preparation methods for Oxford nanopore MinIon sequencing for grapevine and hops. please contact us if there are methods you are specifically interested in

Data

We have accumulated a large number of sequencing datasets. in these pages we provide links to the datasets we are able to offer publically. Other datasets are accessible upon request.

Oxford nanopore sequencing

Alongside our efforts to identify and characterise Transposons in Horticultural species we are actively involved in whole genome reference genome assembly and transposon annotation. To facilitate this we are using Oxford Nanopore minion sequencing of DNA and RNA. The link below will take you to our methods and experiences with this platform

Software

We make use of a wide range of software in our analyses. We provide links to the software and will maintain some commentary on the packages and their functionality and settings etc. we have found to work for us.
